Northwestern University has named Morton Owen Schapiro as its 16th President, effective September 1, 2009. A noted expert on the economics of higher education, Mr. Schapiro is currently President of Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts.
Under the leadership of President Schapiro, the Office of Corporate Relations aims to foster strong and collegial relationships between Northwestern and the corporate community. In the coming months, we also celebrate the successes of current Northwestern President Henry S. Bienen.
Northwestern appreciates the partnership of the corporate community in helping to achieve the highest order of excellence in teaching and research.
